NorCal Cocker Rescue, Inc. was established in 2013 by a group of experienced and dedicated animal welfare volunteers.
Based in Sacramento, and serving the greater Northern California area, NorCal works with public shelters to place at risk Cocker Spaniels and Spaniel mixes in loving forever homes and also serves as a resource regarding the unique needs of the Cocker Spaniel breed.
NorCal Cocker Rescue is an all-volunteer, not-for-profit Corporation, registered in the State of California.

By welcoming a foster dog into your home you give them a second chance of finding a forever home. With a safe environment, a warm bed and lots of love, a foster dog can become the best they can be. What a rewarding experience to be that person for a dog needing a new home!

Georgie has found his forever home with previous adopters. Once they saw him they instantly fell in love. Georgie loves being the center of attention and the only pup that gets all the love.
This was a very special adoption as Artie is 10+ years old and blind and hearing impaired. Often these are seen as impairments to humans yet dogs rely mostly on their noses and manage their environments very well. Artie is living his best life with his new family.
This sweet guy was a hit wherever he went! It was instant love when his new mom met him for the first time. Butters is living his best life in the Oakland hills and is a a favorite with all the neighbors.
Everywhere Hayward goes, people love this boy. He needed ear surgery on both ears and was a champ through the whole thing. Hayward is spending his life pain free and loved.
London has found her new forever home! She will spend her golden years soaking up the sun and being showered with love.
